Backup Battery Operation

The Maleco Automatic Pool & Spa Cover can be equipped with a backup battery system to allow the cover to be closed in the event of a power outage.

​

If the main power supply is unavailable, the backup battery provides temporary power so the cover can be safely operated and the spa can be secured.

​

The backup battery is intended for emergency closing only and should not be used as the regular power source for daily operation.

​

This feature helps ensure your spa cover can still be closed safely during unexpected power interruptions.
